Our planet is our temple, a sacred treasure!
Today is April 22nd, 2021. 51 years ago today, the first ever Earth Day was celebrated across the United States, with public demonstrations in support of protecting our world, Mother Earth. Much has changed since that first Earth Day over half a century ago. Now more than ever, our Mother Earth needs us to protect and look after her, after she has given us so much. We must take care not to exploit her gifts! reflect and meditate on how you have been trying to heal our world, and what more you can do in order to reduce your carbon footprint and consumption. We are now in the midst of spring, and the new beginnings and growth that come with this special season are surrounding us in every moment. Savor every moment you can with nature. The flowers, animals, trees, water, soil, and sunlight are sources of light and healing in this world. We must not forget to cherish them! A month after the spring equinox brought us all together to embrace a new season filled with warmth and light, we must continue to spread that love and light which is within each of us.
New Breathe Love Store update: A powerful new design in celebration of our planet
This month, in celebration of Earth Day (and Earth Month!), we have a brand new design in the Breathe Love store, pictured above. There are a number of elements which have been incorporated into this design, and each one of them has its own individual meaning.
Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life. The sunflower has many meanings across the world as well, including in Chinese culture, where they represent good luck and happiness.
And finally, the Flower of Life symbol is believed to represent the cycle of creation. There is believed to be a secret symbol hidden within the Flower of Life symbol, which is said to hold the most significant and sacred patterns of the universe.
